We're so busy here at Helping Hand this year, and we've been very blessed. Thanks to all who have given to the Helping Hand Food Pantry and Thrift Shop of Greater Little Rock. Thank you to all our wonderful volunteers, too. Because of all of you, we were able to provide groceries to over 2,000 families.

• The Accounting Firm BKD is planning on coming to  HH on Friday, May 17th from 1-5 PM to paint the inside of the building.
• November 19 Sister Maria and I will do a program/tell the Ladies of Charity all about HH.
• In December there will be the Knights of Columbus and Catholic Business Women events which we receive money and toys.
• The LR Kickball Association is coming to help with the canned goods donated in November for the Robin Hood Days at MSM.

Last Thursday was a hot one, but a wonderful night for the monthly Shop N' Sip along Kavanaugh in Hillcrest.  And in the middle of it all, there was a familiar face!  Sister Maria was hard at work, in her brand new Helping Hand T-Shirt.

Despite the warm weather, Sister Maria had a pretty good night!  The Shop N' Sip is always a lot of fun, and we would like to thank all those who purchased Sister Maria's Art.  We' d also like to thank a new friend, Bob Glass, a professional photographer here in Little Rock, who took these wonderful photos of Sister Maria.  Please visit Bob's Gallery at robertglassgalleries.com. On Tuesday April 24, Sister Maria Liebeck had the honor of displaying (and selling!) her artwork at The Women's Foundation annual "Designing Women" event, held at The Governor's Mansion.  Sister Maria's gallery can be found here on the Helping Hand website by clicking on the "More" button.  Sister Maria sells originals and prints of all her amazing work, and all proceeds benefit Helping Hand.  God bless you, Sister, for wonderful work and the gifts and talents God has give you.  Thank you for all you do for Helping Hand!
